These steps for caring for your soy wax candle will ensure both excellent performance along with durability:

The initial burning process requires allowing the wax to spread evenly across the whole candle surface during two to three hours to achieve a smooth burn without tunneling.

Trim every candle wick to 6mm (1/4 inch) before burning because this avoids soot formation and ensures flame stability.

Proper jar safety requires a candle burn duration of 4 hours max because longer periods increase the heat inside the jar.

The candle should settle on a heat-proof surface placed in a draft-free area that keeps children and pets at a distance.

To safely extinguish your candle use a snuffer with caution by placing the wick into the melted wax which should be followed by straightening it to avoid smoke and ensure an easy re-light.

You can reuse the container after washing the candle remnants with warm water and soap solution to make it suitable for storage or decorative purposes.
