Why I Don’t Want GAVIR to Chase Every Trend

The online world moves quickly. One week, everyone is talking about one colour, one shape or one particular mood. The next week, something new has arrived and apparently we are all meant to redecorate immediately.

There is nothing wrong with enjoying a trend. They can be fun, fresh and genuinely inspiring. But as GAVIR grows, I do not want every new idea to become something I rush to follow.

Trends can be useful

A trend can help you notice a colour you had overlooked, try a different way of styling a shelf or discover a fragrance family that feels right for the season. It can open the door to something new without asking you to change everything you already love.

That is the part I like: inspiration, not pressure. Your home does not need to look like everyone else’s, and your choices do not need to arrive with an expiry date.

Not every idea belongs at GAVIR

When I consider what belongs at GAVIR, I want it to feel thoughtful, useful and connected to the brand. A beautiful photograph or a popular idea is not enough on its own. The piece still needs to make sense in your home, in your routine or as a gift you can feel good about choosing.

Sometimes that means letting an idea pass. It is easy to add more simply because more is possible. I would rather keep asking whether something adds real choice or only extra noise. Your candle cupboard should not require project management.

A collection should still feel connected

GAVIR has an understated cream, black and bronze identity, but that does not mean every collection has to look identical. Seasonal pieces can be playful, warm or a little unexpected. What matters to me is that they still feel as though they belong in the same story.

That is why a new collection and an older piece can both have a place. If you enjoy seeing what is current, you can browse the

Autumn Collection. If an earlier design feels more like you, the

GAVIR Archive is there too. New does not automatically mean more personal.

Quality needs breathing room

Care and quality are important to how I want GAVIR to grow. Those values need time: time to choose, to check and to decide whether an idea genuinely fits. Chasing every trend would make the brand busier, but not necessarily better.

I want growth to feel considered. That may be slower than trying to do everything at once, but it leaves more room for the details that matter and for GAVIR to remain recognisable as it changes.

Choose what feels like you

My hope is simple: when you visit GAVIR, you can enjoy what is new without feeling pushed to choose it simply because it is new. You might love the latest seasonal piece, return to an earlier favourite or decide that today is only a browsing day. All three are perfectly valid.

Trends will keep moving. GAVIR can take inspiration from them without losing its own pace — or asking you to lose yours.

With love, Virginia
